DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES / MENA Newswire / – Dubai World Trade Centre has partnered with -45dB to introduce sound-reduced modular meeting spaces across its venues, adding private rooms and pods for high-traffic exhibitions and events. The partnership covers sites including Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and Dubai Exhibition Centre. DWTC announced the agreement on June 17, 2026, as part of its venue services for organisers and exhibitors.

The new offering includes modular meeting pods, flexible conference rooms and sound-reduced structures that can operate inside busy exhibition halls. The spaces provide up to 45 decibels of sound reduction, according to the announced product details. Organisers and exhibitors can use them for business meetings, calls, content work and private discussions during live events.

-45dB will work directly with organisers and exhibitors to deliver and install the units. DWTC will promote the offering through its sales channels and event portfolio. The arrangement gives event participants access to temporary enclosed spaces without requiring a full permanent build on the venue floor.

    Modular spaces support private meetings

The units come as turnkey, plug-and-play installations. They need limited on-site build activity and can fit into different floor plans. The format allows organisers to place meeting areas, breakout rooms and branded pods within exhibition environments where open stands and visitor traffic create high noise levels.

The offering also links to demand for flexible event infrastructure. Exhibition venues often need meeting rooms that can move, scale and change between events. Modular pods give organisers a way to add private areas while keeping the wider hall layout available for exhibitors, visitor routes and event operations.

    Sound reduction targets busy exhibitions

Mahir Julfar, executive vice president at DWTC, said the partnership supports stronger engagement inside the venue and adds sustainability considerations to the event lifecycle. Jon Noonan, founder and managing director of -45dB, said the collaboration gives the company a platform to provide sound-reduced solutions in Dubai’s live event environment. Both comments formed part of the partnership announcement.

The partnership adds sound-reduced rooms and pods to DWTC’s venue services for organisers and exhibitors. The -45dB units can be configured for meetings, breakout sessions and content production, with branding options available. The companies said the spaces provide up to 45 decibels of sound reduction and require minimal on-site build work.
